Living with an English family

One of the best ways to improve your English is by taking homestay accommodation.  Our homestays are all visited and checked by our Accommodation Officers and are chosen for their friendliness and the warm welcome that each student is given.  Homestays are located close to our schools and to public transport links.  In our centres in Wimbledon and Worthing you can either choose to share a room with another student or pay a small additional fee to have a single room.We will send you details of your homestay and you must make contact with the office and your homestay to confirm your flight number and time of arrival. 

In Wimbledon, you will have breakfast and an evening meal in your homestay, while in Worthing your host family will also provide a packed lunch during the week and a packed lunch or midday meal at weekends.  It is advisable to bring your own towels and toiletries.

Breakfast is a light meal consisting of juice, cereal, toast or bread. Dinner usually consists of a main dish of meat or fish followed by dessert. The main evening meal takes place between 6pm and 7pm, which allows you to join our evening programme or to take part in some sporting activity during the long summer evenings.

Host Family accommodation in Wimbledon is on a half-board basis, while Worthing is full board.

A variety of self catering accommodation is available on request in Wimbledon and Zone 1.
Residential -
Religious of Mary Immaculate - (Catholic Residence). 
Prices per week from £98 for a single bedroom with bathroom. Situated very close to the famous Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club and only 2 minutes from Southfields station (only 2 stops by tube from Wimbledon). 

The Wimbledon YMCA (Single rooms only from £200 per week) is a large residence located in central Wimbledon, only 15 minutes walk from the school.
The Generator Hostel.  Zone 1 - central London (Russell Square Underground) located 30-40 minutes by tube/train from Wimbledon.
Prices per person per night from £34 for a single room.

Hotels / Guest Houses - Worcester House Hotel
Situated 5 minutes walk from Wimbledon station and 20 minutes walk from school. Prices per person per night from £75.

A private taxi will wait for you in the arrivals section of the airport and they will have a sign with your name on it! You need to find this person when you arrive to the airport!
