Our Language Courses
Throughout the year CES/Swandean offer a wide range of courses for adults, all of which include a comprehensive programme of language learning. There is continuous assessment for all students, and long stay students get a progress report each month. Whether you require English for professional, academic or social purposes, CES/Swandean has a course which will meet your needs.
Beginners
Absolute beginners are accepted 5 times each year. At times other than these clients must join class at the lowest existing level.
Certificates and Reports
A Certificate of Attendance is given to each student at the end of their course, as well as a detailed report from the teachers outlining important aspects of the course and containing recommendations for further study.

Standard General English Course
Our standard course takes place throughout the year and students may join this course on any Monday. The morning is divided into two parts and two teachers usually share the class
Intensive General English Course
This course is suitable for students who want to maximise on work carried out in the Standard Course.
Combination English
On our Combination Course, you will follow the Standard Course in the mornings and you will also have two afternoons of individual lessons.
Work Experience programme
CES are delighted to announce that we have a new Unpaid Work Experience programme that can be taken as an option after an English language course in our Dublin centre.
Executive Plus
Individual tuition is offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. These courses are designed for students who wish to make the maximum progress in the shortest possible time and designed to meet the needs and objectives of the individual student.
Examination Preparation Courses
In today's competitive world it is necessary for job seekers to have the highest qualifications possible.
Academic Year Programme (Ireland Only)
The Academic Year Programme gives students a sound foundation for further study. The programme concentrates on developing the important skills of reading, writing, note taking and speaking.
Study Abroad Year (England Only)
The Study Abroad Year is for a 36 week period, studying for 32 weeks and taking 2 x 2 week holidays. Clients normally start with 12 weeks on the Intensive Course, to be followed by two 10 week periods.
Multi-Destination Opportunity
Why not let your clients experience more than one destination. CES and Swandean/CES give Agents a unique opportunity to offer clients a chance to study in two countries.
General English Course with Options (Dublin & Worthing - July & August)
Students availing of this option follow the Standard General English course in the mornings and take the Business option three afternoons per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
General English with Anglo-Irish Literature Option (Dublin Only)
Students availing of this option follow the Standard General English course in the mornings and take the Anglo-Irish Literature option three afternoons per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Teacher's Course (Dublin & Worthing)
English for Teachers is intended for non-native English Teachers who wish to refresh their own language skills and at the same time examine different teaching approaches and methods.
International Summer Residential Course (Oriel College, Oxford, UK.)
The course takes place on the premises of Oriel College Oxford (pictured above). Oriel College is one of the oldest colleges in Oxford University.
Junior English Language & Activity Course /Junior English Language & Golf Programme (Dublin Only)
CES Junior Summer School is organised to include expert English language training with a full programme of sports, activities and cultural visits.
Young Learner Programme (Worthing)
Swandean/CES Junior Summer School is organised to include expert English language training with a full programme of sports, activities and cultural visits.
Junior Stage Programme - Winter Option (Dublin - Carlow -Wimbledon - Worthing)
The course is designed for groups of young people (minimum age 14 years).
ACELS TEFL Certificate (Dublin Only)
The CES ACELS (The Advisory Council for English Language Schools) accredited TEFL Certificate was established in 2005 as part of the EFL industry's continuing commitment to maintaining the highest possible standards within EFL in Ireland.
