The Academic Year Programme gives students a sound foundation for further study. The programme concentrates on developing the important skills of reading, writing, note taking and speaking. The participant’s skills are developed to prepare them for either further academic study at third level or for entry into the world of work. Students are prepared for the examinations necessary for further study. Extra tutorials are given to prepare students for their examination and to prepare them for interview for entry into Third Level or future job opportunities.
An Academic Year Programme can last from 25 weeks to 48 weeks and depends on the progress made by each individual student.
Examination Preparation
Preparation for IELTS and TOEFL are an important part of this course. The majority of Universities and Third Level Colleges require a TOEFL score of 500-600 and a minimum of level 6 in IELTS. Our study programmes are intensive and provide rigorous exam preparation as well as skills development. Examination fee of your choice is included for one examination of the participants choice.
It is now necessary to take a course of minimum 25 weeks to qualify for a study visa and be able to work in Ireland.
