Class times – 09.00 to 13.00 Mon-Fri and 14.10hrs to 16.00 Tues, Wed & Thurs.
Students availing of this option follow the Standard General English course in the mornings and take the Anglo-Irish Literature option three afternoons per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
The Anglo-Irish Literature option is designed for students who are interested in and would like to learn more about the lives and works of some of Ireland’s most well-known authors -

- W.B. Yeats
- George Bernard Shaw
- James Joyce
- Oscar Wilde
- Samuel Beckett
Students learn about the historical, biographical and cultural background of the authors before reading and discussing extracts from their works. Students wishing to participate on the Anglo-Irish Literature Option must have at least an Intermediate Level of English.
