CES Dublin International Junior Summer School combines expert English language training with a full programme of sports, activities and cultural visits.
The morning lessons focus on developing the core language skills, with particular emphasis given to speaking and listening. Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session. We use role-plays, AV technology, project work, and task-based activities to develop students’ communicative skills. Students will also be asked to research and give weekly presentations on various aspects of Irish culture, myth and legend.
Students then have a busy afternoon schedule of on-site sports and activities (zumba / yoga / drama / arts and crafts) or cultural and touristic visits to Dublin's city centre and surrounding areas.
There are also two evening activities per week including 1 international disco.
Students have full day excursions each Saturday of their stay that depart their centres at 09.15am until 5pm approx.
Accommodation is in Irish home stays in shared rooms on full-board basis.
