One of the best ways to learn more about the people of England is to choose homestay/private home accommodation. In a homestay accommodation there will be a maximum of 4 students. Homes accommodating more than four adult students are described as private home accommodation, but this type of accommodation is only suitable for students aged 16 years or older. In this type of accommodation there may be less direct contact with the host(s). If you are staying in private home accommodation we will let you know before arrival. When staying with a host, family life is usually quite informal and the people are welcoming, friendly and talkative, so you will have plenty of opportunities to practise your English.
CES is able to offer our students in Worthing a large selection of homestay/private home accommodation. Accommodation includes breakfast, packed lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Average travel time from accommodation to the school is 20-30 minutes on foot or by public transport. In a homestay you can expect to meet a number of other students of different nationalities, so it is a great chance to meet students from around the world.
Having chosen a homestay or private home suitable for you, your details will be sent to the hosts and we will send the hosts details to you. We would suggest you make contact with them to confirm your arrival time. We ask all hosts to treat you as a member of the household, eating together and sharing the common living areas. No more than four students will be accommodated in homestay accommodation at any one time.
