CES are looking for people to join our team as one of our Social ‘Activity Leaders’.

CES Activity Leaders help plan, prepare and lead tours and excursions in and around Dublin.

We are currently looking for Social Activity Leaders. CES (Centre of English Studies) is seeking friendly, out-going, fun but responsible person to help deliver our adult social program. 

About our Activity Leader/ Yellow Shirt

Our “Yellow Shirts” organise and accompany foreign English language students on social, cultural, sports and recreational activities such as trips to museums, galleries and the seaside. Yellow Shirts must be responsible leaders and have excellent local knowledge and a good command of English. In return for your hard work we offer the promise of a great summer and a chance to earn money whilst having fun!

Main areas of responsibility:

*Accompanying a group of international teenagers on activities throughout the city
*Encouraging student participation and a positive, fun environment
*Ensuring the safety of the group
*Working collegially with other leaders
*Supporting group leaders and chaperones
*Communicating with Vice President, Social Program Coordinator, leaders and CES staff
*Maintaining strong, professional relationships with vendors and tour operators

The successful candidate will meet these minimum qualifications:

*Leaving Cert and seeking post-secondary degree or diploma.
*Experience with teenagers in activities setting
*Strong knowledge of the local area.
*Superior organizational and time management skills
*Exceptional punctuality and reliability
*Solid leadership skills
You will need Garda Vetted for the position

*Previous experience is preferred but is not essential for this role. On the job training and guidance will be provided.

*Second language an asset but not required-especially Russian, Japanese, French and Spanish
